Recently I found the feather of a great horned owl! I was thrilled and then doubly so, when, the very next day I found a 2nd feather from a great horned owl. I looked in my book called “Animal Speak” which talks about the power of feathers and it said that if you hang two great horned owl feathers and the feather from a red-tailed hawk over your bed, it will bring lucid dreaming. I told this to a dear friend and she mailed me the feather from a red-tailed hawk! The images in this painting are of me sleeping and the many animals that have come to me in my dreams for paintings. That is also me, holding a paintbrush, sitting under a tree enjoying the menagerie.
